Unpopular opinion: Christina saying “I am the unseen hand to his brilliance” confuses me. Preston Burke was already great long before Christina came along. Sure, she helped him during the phase of his tremors and she deserved credit for that. But to say that she is the reason behind his brilliance makes me feel infuriated for some reason. Even when they were in a relationship I felt that she treated him like a child. I don’t know, this whole things just does not sit well with me.
Esta mujer hizo una de las mejores interpretaciones en el cine !! Una excelente musa ,diosa, reina del cine , hermosa !!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Well, meredith did spent too much time trying to fight for derek.
One of Christina's best scenes
She ate them up.
Burke was the smallest man who ever lived
Sandra is unbeliavable, such a powerful (and feminist!) speech so powerfully delivered🔥🔥🫂
All the tears. She is an amazing actress.
Beautiful Story.
I think she should back off her daughter deserves someone in her life we are allowed to have our own lives a job is not the only thing in life. We should enjoy the beauty of life not become famous because of being able to pick up a surgeon tool yes it’s great to be able to help but live life as well.
It was over the top difficult for Cristina because not only Burke broke her, but she also lost a teacher. Hann was a fucking bitch. She was terrible to Cristina. The hospital should've done something about Erica Hann's power harassment.

I almost forgot is just a show.😭
Man it's so similar how christina and ellis are
I know that lots of you in the comment section are going to hate me for saying this, but Ellis is right about what she said to Meredith. At some point, Meredith lost focus of her career as a surgeon and Ellis was simply calling her out on it. In the beginning Meredith was all about being a surgeon and she was determined to be great. However, as time went on she started to settle for less until eventually she was more focused about what was going on outside of work. I know it was pretty brutal, but she was being honest about it. I’m not saying Meredith isn’t great because she is, but she definitely could have been better if she had stayed focused. FYI I’m a Cristina, so maybe that’s why I see it that way. Please don’t hate me for it.
My mom had a brain injury before I was born that rendered her rational thinking fully absent. My mom would always suddenly lash out at me when I was simply trying to talk like Ellis does to Meredith. She was so good at hurting you at your core... so these scenes have hit so much harder than they should. I still don't have a relationship with her because of those problems ongoing forever.
Before yours moms brain injury was she nice like do you have older siblings you could ask or your dad or an aunt grandparents uncle anybody? Also very sorry to here that I hope your doing good
How many of us are behind the scenes while someone in higher authority takes credit for our hard work & gets paid more.
I’m living this right now. I’m so sad that there’s a possibility I might lose the love of my life and the first thing I thought of is “what about me.” Omg does it ever hurt.
I kinda hate Ellis for what she says to Meredith. Especailly when she says that meredith used to be a force of nature and that shes ordinary. Ellis is completly wrong mer is most definetly a force of nature and shes extrordinary. I think that Ellis always resented mer because she thought mer was holding her back.
what episode is this?
❤❤❤❤❤
This is literally my relationship with my parents. Although it’s not just my mom, it’s both my parents. And also my parents would never waste their breath so long on me to say complete sentences. I’ve never had a conversation with either of them that lasted the length of this clip. They’d just passively judge and insult every microscopic thing I do, and if I dare respond they would scream and slap me before calling me the most disrespectful piece of shit they’ve had the misfortune to meet. Then they’d leave before I can say anything since they can’t afford to have a whole 3 min convo with me or else the world will come to an end. Watching this scene actually made me envious of Meredith bc at least her mom says full sentences to her and called her a disappointment. Mine just hates me and want nothing to do with me. Any reminder of my existence sends them into chaos
If you've ever fought so hard for a loved one to live, you'll understand this betwer. It's been 4yrs after i lost my mum to heart disease and it just hits sometimes & i cry like it was yesterday especially during Christmas. I miss her so much
😊
wtf was that
These clips of Izzie is making me cry and wanting to binge watch Greys Anatomy.
This scene is actually annoying. Julia Roberts literally lost Ben in the park but says "you could never lose that kid." Lol Then it immediately darts into the monologs. It's just weird and not paced well. Writer's fault. Not the actors.
Damn girl. Why the hell didn't you get an award for this scene?
My mother has said plenty of cruel things such as this. You can’t take it personal
She was right to never sacrifice herself for men again like what did that ever get her? Not even a Fucken thank you from him or a mention in his speech ?
She dated men in power for the exact reason of getting ahead.
Sooo viel Gefühl 💕
she was a bit harsh but still given her psychological condition and past experiences where she struggled so much for love she's right and this dialogue starts to make so much sense in the flashback scenes of season 11 whenever derek and mer have an argument. "everybody can blindly fall in love and be blindly happy but not everybody can pick up a scalpel and save life".
“I wish my mom was here” gets me every time 🥺
“I’m gonna call a nurse” 😂😂 she would cut that call light cord too if he tried 😂😂😂
Lol Ellis Grey is an Asian parent
burke broke her, but he was also the only man who understood her.
“i kept his secret, i nursed his pride… i was his hand and now, i’m a ghost. that’s not difficult. it’s unbearable. i know everybody is proud of him but i’m not and i do not wish him well.” i’m coming back to this after a year and my god, cristina was running around the hospital trying to keep his secret, almost abandoning her own career for the sake of his, even marrying him. but NOT ONCE, have i heard burke said ‘thank you’ from any surgery. his ego was too big for her. he could not accept that it was what had become of him and he probably never saw her be the same level as him until a decade later when he heard she was nominated for the harper avery. by the time he was doing okay, cristina was losing her identity, forgetting who she should be instead of another man’s hands.
Mother of the year 🏆
As a child with parental issues myself, I always have to step back and look at Ellis point of view. She made a lot of mistakes because she was so blindly in love and unfocused from her own career choices. Richard hurt her a lot because she had fallen in love with him despite her marriage to Thatcher and their shared daughter Meredith. Meredith is right. She hasn’t been so focused because everytime she’s upset over her mother or father is dawns on her pretty hard. I feel then she should start to fumble or become not as good at her job. Meredith would talk about Derek when he would hurt her, but I felt she would still go into medicine with drive, at least for the first few seasons, however, it never really made her stumble or fall too out of line like her parental issues would.
Ότι καλύτερο 😂
1:31 feels like the conversation between Billie Rosita and her mom 2:02
1:23 tough mom 😢
“He’s the kindest & best of men.” - Elinor, Sense & Sensibility (Emma Thompson) That surely seems to sum up who Alan Rickman really was! ♥️
Adele’s face when Cristina said she nursed his pride. She was relating to her. 👏
😮 very powerful scene
